My kitten is a Maine Coon and I have been told that all cats enjoy playing with a laser pointer. What type should I get? Does the color affect the reaction of the cat? Thanks in advance!
All the laser pointers I've seen are red, but it doesn't really matter because cats can't see red anyway. What they see is the movement. You can get the same effect with a tight flashlight beam.

Find out your cat's favorite color. Buy some solid colored balls, and see which one your kitty plays with the most. Then get that color laser pointer. It worked with my cat and she choose green.
