How to Choose a High Chair Cover

If you're interested in purchasing a high chair cover either for your child or as a gift for a friend or family member, you'll want to make your choice carefully. While there is a wide selection of high chair cover on the market, not all of them are created equal and not all of them are right for babies. Below are some pointers that will help you choose a high chair cover for the baby in your life.

Pointer #1: Look at the Padding

A High chair cover is meant to do plenty of things, including keeping the baby safe from germs. However, the covers can also make sitting in those hard high chairs a lot more comfortable and that can mean a more pleasant dining experience for the rest of the family.

To make sure the high chair cover is particularly comfortable, you should pay attention to the amount of padding included in it. If possible, touch the padding to make sure it feels soft and like a nice cushion. That means the baby is going to enjoy it a lot more.

If you're buying online, then look at the product description or read reviews of the product from other buyers. That should give you some insight to how well the high chair cover is padded.

Pointer #2: Consider A Reversible High chair cover

Like most things for babies, a high chair cover is going to get stained and dirty. While cleaning them can help, over washing can strip a high chair cover of its original color. Plus, you may get tired of looking at the same cover style all the time.

For these reasons, you might consider looking for reversible a high chair cover. These are available through vendors, such as Pure & Honest Kids. The real benefit here is that you'll have more choices without having to purchase more than one. That's going to save money in the long run and will definitely be something appreciated by parents.

Pointer #3: Consider Style

Although health and comfort are the two best reasons to consider purchasing a high chair cover, you don't want to forget the importance of showing off the baby's impeccable sense of style to the public, do you? Remember that a high chair cover also give parents a chance to make a fashion statement.

The good news is you'll find some great style choices for a high chair cover available. For example, the hottest color combination for baby girls this year is pink and chocolate and Pure & Honest Kids offers adorable high chair cover that have pink and chocolate stripes on one side and dots in the same color pattern on the reverse side.

The Bottom Line with a High chair cover

A high chair cover can be a wonderful investment for babies, especially if you're going to be taking him or her out on the town quite often. There's no reason to compromise your baby's comfort or your health concerns as a high chair cover can offer you the protection you want for your child.

Is this what a feminist looks like? Obama? Thoughts on MS. cover?
Are they really serious? I mean check his pay rates for women…………….

"In choosing the cover for this special Inaugural issue, Ms. wanted to capture both the national and feminist mood of high expectations and hope as the 44th President of the United States takes the oath of office.

When the chair of the Feminist Majority Foundation board, Peg Yorkin, and I met Barack Obama, he immediately offered “I am a feminist.” And better yet, he ran on the strongest platform for women’s rights of any major party in American history"

Yes: Claudia I was referring to his paid staff - thanks for bolstering my statement.

Sure. Men can be feminists, too. There are radical feminists and conservative feminists.

I, too, am a conservative feminist. I think women should have equal rights. Radical feminists are the ones who burn bras and hate men, but they're the only ones that make the news.

This "feminist" routinely paid his female campaign staffers LESS than their male counterparts.

Edit: Sorry….I can't break it down to smaller words. But do notice it says "staffers" not volunteers.

Feminists are screwy and angry individuals…so anything that doesn't make sense and tends to be mean-spirited should be appropriate for a MS magazine cover!

Sounds like a ridiculous new movement to anything Obama. They have some outrageous hopes going on there. I am not one to say that women's rights are at 100%, but the fact remains, any company that I have ever worked for that are chauvenists weren't worth continuing on with. The threat of legal action usually ruins that for people. He ran on a platform for women's rights? When? lol The fiction that magazines and papers crank out….

A feminist can be a man or a woman. It only says that person supports our equality. I'm sure your mention of pay rates for women is some how racist or sexist or something but I don't get that joke. Please explain for my small feminist mind.

EDIT: BTW, I'm a female feminist but I worked for Obama for free (around 20 hours per week). So should I be pi$$ed?? Please tell me how I should feel.

He's fairly young, good looking, smart and the US president. Not to mention that he's Black.

The guy could get an harem in five minutes. Feminism or not, hetero women are still hetero women and get hot for a powerful man.

I'm not sure how to interpret the feminist's (Obama) statement released yesterday that a full 40% of the 4 million theoretical jobs he creates will be available to women. Shouldn't 50% be the figure or why isn't this sexual discrimination? Why is there any statement or a quota at all for either sex?
