How Powerful Can My Laser Pointer Be Without Needing Safety Glasses to Look at the Beam?

I’m planning on buying a 150mW laser pointer and I’m afraid if I’m lookIng at the beam with out safety glasses it will blind me

Well, 150mW laser is powerful and u need safety glasses to protect your eyes.
There are two ways to solve this problem:
1. Buy a safety glasses
2. Buy a low power laser like 5mW or 10mW.

U can try http://en.laserto.com for laser pointer and http://en.laserto.com/laser-safety-goggles.html for laser safety glasses.
