When i use the internet my pointer becomes eratic switching from hand to pointer very fast .I have checked for viruses and trogans and found nothing .When I use the pointer in Vista i dont have any problems.Can anyone plz help me fix this problem thankyou..

The problem is associated to the mouse or pointing device you are using, either the software needs updating or the device is dirty underneath this is a common fault with mice that have a ball.
the ball and internals before dirty.
the best cure is a new mouse as they are so cheap that should not be a problem.
